Event 18 | Beginner Friendly Round Robin

Today at Melbourne Championships Event 18, competitors of all backgrounds came together for a beginner friendly round robin experience. This event was designed to give new grapplers a safe, supportive and exciting environment to test their skills, build confidence and fall in love with the sport. Every athlete who stepped on the mat today should be incredibly proud.

Melbourne Championships Event 18 was built for first timers and beginners. A round robin format means more mat time, more experience and more memories made on the day.

Win or lose, every match today was a step forward. The courage it takes to compete for the first time is something no one can take away from you. Today you did something most people never will.
